First Try To Solve The Dilemma

My initial idea on how to solve my dilemma was to provide Jonathon with as many apps, websites, games, and other programs on the computer as I possibly could to ensure that he was working and staying busy during the school day. I used programs suchs as:

Was he occupied?

YES.

Was he busy?

YES.

Was he enjoying his time at school?

YES.

Was he accessing 4th grade curriculum?

NOT SO MUCH!

While such programs do have great benefits, ones I still utilize to this day, I quickly realized that spending countless hours staring at the computer screen was in no way helping Jonathon to access the 4th grade curriculum or build relationships with his classmates. But where would I find the time to create and implement specific and targeted lessons for one student in my class of twenty-eight?
