Googling Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports
My name is Lincoln Smith, and this is a report on my inquiry project, completed through the Teachers College Inclusive Classrooms Project (TCICP) Positive Behavior Support (PBS) Inquiry Team (grades 6-12). I attempted to answer the question, “Can a sustainable, broad tracking system positively influence student behavior?” I assumed teacher, student, and parent accountability and involvement.
I’ve broken this report into sections, in as helpful a way as I could conceive for a curious teacher. No need to follow any particular order. I also tried to include a visual representation of the ideas in each section, both in the name of differentiation, but also to speed up skimming if that’s your desire.
