You’ve Been Punk’d: Embedding Learning in High Engagement Activities

I am a high school Living Environment teacher in the South Bronx. 

Last year I attended the TCICP Chancellor’s Day Conference and was blown away.  I was SUPER excited about the work these teachers had done in their classrooms, and I wanted to do the same.  I applied to the project and conducted my inquiry with TCICP’s Accessible Curriculum Spotlight this year.
My inquiry is focused on student engagement and through my inquiry I hope to show:

*Engagement is an essential piece of accessible curriculum

*Turning up engagement turns up the participation

*Creating engaging activities can be as complicated or simple as you want
