Demonstration School Visits

Demonstration Schools are a professional development experience aimed at anyone in a leadership role. During a visit, school leaders participate in workshops and guided observations of inclusive practices as they are enacted in schools. Demonstration Schools PDs are designed for principals, assistant principals, guidance counselors, school leadership teams, PPT teams, IEP teachers, literacy and math coaches, grade level team leaders, subject area coordinators, deans, and any other interested educators in an administrative position. If you are not sure about a particular role, just email us and ask!

Time Commitment: Half-day workshop from 9:00-11:30am

Format: Guided observations of specific classrooms and meetings with various staff members and the administration led by a TCICP staff developer.

We recommend you select the schools that are of most interest to your work, as participants will have time to discuss developmental level applications of inclusive practices.

We are committed to the full participation of all educators. Please let us know if we can provide specific accommodations to increase your access at tcicp@tc.edu.

Investigate these questions and more through classroom visits, a mini-SDI workshop, and a Q&A with teachers and administration.
